TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- 99th times the charm. The Crimson Tide baseball team will play 7th ranked Kentucky this weekend in a triple-header from Friday through Sunday at Sewell-Thomas Stadium for their 99th on field meeting in history. Be sure to stop by one if not all three of the games, the first starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Sunday. If you can’t catch the games at the stadium with clear skies, SEC Network will also be broadcasting them. This is the first time since 2014 the Wildcats have come to Title-town and lost the last two meetings, therefore it’s an action-packed series.

It’s a family-friendly weekend, including a hat and jersey giveaway while supplies last on Friday and Saturday, as well as an Egg Hunt on the field after the game on Sunday. There will also be discounted tickets and recognition of all servicemen and women in the armed forces on Friday, the Crimson Tide Foundation on Saturday, and Kids Day on Sunday.

The Tide has a great line-up planned and will hopefully push forward past the Wildcats and coming back from their 0-4 losing streak in this past week’s away games against Tennessee and Auburn. The pitchers for this weekend include junior Sam Finnerty, senior Jake Walters, and redshirt freshman Garret Rukes, while Kentucky has a consistent set of juniors on their sideline.

For more information on this weekend’s games or to purchase tickets, visit RollTide.com or stop by the Alabama Athletics Ticket Office two hours prior to the first pitch.
