ACA's Jalen Dubose Signs to Faulkner University

Jalen Dubose, defensive lineman for American Christian Academy, signed with Faulkner University this past Wednesday.

Located in Montgomery, Faulkner went 4-6 in 2019, but ranked No. 8 in sacks among their opponents, making it a desired offer for Dubose.

“I kinda just fell in love with Faulkner. I have a friend there. I’ve seen him play a few times and just seeing him play and knowing what he like, learned from there just made me fall in love with Faulkner,” Dubose said.

Dubose was a mainstay on the ACA defense. At 5 feet, 10 inches and 250 pounds, the senior recorded 44 tackles, including 4.5 sacks.

ACA finished the season with a 12-2 record in the Class 4A division. They went undefeated at home and hope to continue that streak next season, despite saying goodbye to a number of seniors.
